Description GED TESTING: The Maryland Department of Labor, Adult Education website provides a listing of GED® testing centers and GED® instructional program locations throughout Maryland. GED® Testing site locations offer various hours, some weekends and evenings. REQUESTING TRANSCRIPTS/DUPLICATE DIPLOMAS
The MD Adult Education Office is not open to the public.  All requests for Maryland GED® records (transcripts or duplicate diplomas) are available through Parchment. To obtain records go to: https://ged.com/life_after_ged/ or contact Parchment at 1-888-906-4031. 

An electronic or E-copy of the transcript, diploma, or verification will be emailed and available immediately. Mailed copies may take up to two weeks. There is a fee.

Program
Eligibility Must be a resident of Maryland. Individuals under 19 must provide the official GED® School Withdrawal/Exception Form or GED® Home Instruction Verification Form.
Languages Offered English & Spanish. The Language Arts module must be taken in English in MD.

Application Process Must register online www.ged.com to create a GED® account and schedule test(s) or contact the GED® Call Center at 1-877-392-6433 for assistance.
Documents Required Current Maryland MVA ID, License, or Learner’s Permit or Current active duty Military dependent ID card or valid Passport and second document (utility bill, phone bill, bank statement, cable bill, lease agreement, etc.).
