Description ANIMAL SERVICES: Arranges for cat and dog adoptions, offers low-cost rabies vaccinations on site, spay and nueter services, and provides low-cost microchip implant identification by appointment. Handles nuisance complaints (barking dogs, animals demonstrating threatening behavior, etc.), responds to animal cruelty reports, picks up stray dogs and cats, and removes dead animals from county roads.

Eligibility Open to anyone.
Program Fees $9 for rabies shots for dogs, cats, and ferrets; Adoption- $50 (dog), $40 (cat): $10 microchip implant ID. Low cost dog spay/neuter $20. Low cost cat spay/neuter $20 only to residents of zip codes 21219 and 21222.

Volunteer Requirements Complete the online application and return back by email, fax, mail, or in person. 18 years old or older, committed to the mission, and willing to commit to 6 hours per month or more.
Volunteer Duties Dog and Cat Cadet, Front desk assistant, Surgical assistant, and helping with special events.
