Description VOLUNTEERING: Matches volunteers with community service opportunities, such as: community revitalization and improvement; health education; other education, such as computer training and literacy; food distribution and/or collection; congregate meals; delivery of health services; disaster/emergency preparedness; holiday projects; senior center programs; seniors living independently program; working with children (mentoring, tutoring, reading, recreational activities); etc. If a volunteer volunteers for 24 or more hours a month, the volunteer can be reimbursed for up to $50 of transportation costs.
Coverage Area Volunteers are placed throughout the city not necessarily at 417 East Fayette Street.
