Description
|
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION: Provides a childcare center on-site while parents work on obtaining their GED and job training courses. Offers encouragement and support to parents to be involved in their children's education. Makes home visits to help the parents make their home and it's surrounding a learning environment. Families are also educated about nutrition, health, and development screenings. During home visits to pregnant women, staff educates them about pre-natal care, fetal development, labor/delivery, and breast feeding.
