COVID-19 Update: Telephone message states individuals can be seen in-person for disasters, utility turn off notices and customers who have waited longer than 10 days for renewal of their debit cards.
EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Assists low income families who are experiencing financial crisis. Emergency grants are provided for disasters, utility bill turn-off notices (no water) and/or lack of heating fuel, burial assistance, foreclosures, eviction prevention, and security deposits.

Eligibility
|
Once every 24 months for families with children under the age of 21, and pregnant women. To qualify for burial assistance, individuals must receive TCA, TDAP, or SSI. For security deposits, families must have a qualifying emergency such as homelessness, eviction or the home is uninhabitable due to a fire/flood or other disaster. Excludes families living in public housing.Must meet income guidelines.
