Description
|
OVERVIEW: Offers dental extractions to low-income adults and comprehensive dental care for children with Medicaid, and dental health education.
SERVICES:
1) DENTAL CARE-CHILDREN: Full dental services provided to children up to and including 21 years of age who has a valid medical assistance card with Maryland Healthy Smiles Dental Program.
2) DENTAL CARE-ADULTS: Extractions are offered to low income adults on a sliding fee scale including adults and pregnant women who have a MCO/MA or Medical Assistance card. Extraction clinics held twice per month.
3) EDUCATION SERVICES: Dental education materials and/or presentations are offered to WIC and Head Start recipients, expectant parents, and to elementary school students by teacher request.
