Description
|
YOUTH EMPLOYMENT: Helps high-school-age youth obtain after-school and summer employment opportunities as well as mentorship to help achieve success in school and plan future careers. Hands-on learning and case management is given as well to boost high school graduation rates and reduce youth unemployment rates. Job readiness, leadership development, financial literacy trainings, career planning, and job placement assistance offered as well.

|
Youth, ages 14-21. Must be registered with the Mayor's Office of Employment Development's YouthWorks Program. Youth that reside in zipcodes 21216, 21217, 21223, 21229, and 21230 are given preference.
