Description MEDICAL TRANSIT: Provides transportation to medical appointments for persons receiving Medical Assistance who are unable to use Mobility or the bus. This program provides "last resort" transportation for ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher-bound recipients who have no other means available of transport to get to and from medical appointments. Also handles transportation complaints.

Hours Of Operation Call for appointment. Call at least 24-48 hours in advance of appointment for scheduling. If calling for the next day, must call before 3PM. CANNOT do same-day appointments. If calling on Friday, cannot schedule for Saturday.

Eligibility Must be receiving Medical Assistance (Medicaid/MA) benefits.
Program Fees Accepts Medical Assistance (Medicaid/MA).

Documents Required Medicaid/Medical Assistance number, Doctor/Provider must complete a Provider Certification form.
