COMMUNITY WELLNESS: Provides community wellness programs and operates a mobile health center. Visit https://www.calverthealthmedicine.org/MobileHealthCenter for the current schedule. The Mobile Health Center travels to under-served areas of the community to bring essential primary care services, dental, prevention and wellness programs to residents who may not have easy access to traditional health care. Services include:
--Baby Care Basics
--Babysitting training
--Childbirth Education
--Cholesterol screening
--Colorectal and prostate
--Expectant Sibling Class
--First Aid and CPR
--Heart disease education and risk reduction
--Infant CPR and Safety
--Mobile Health Center
--Smoking cessation
--Stress management (seated therapeutic massages), Nutritional counseling
--Woman's Wellness (well woman exams & low-cost mammograms)
--Workshops on various health topics
--Yoga (for all levels, open class, gentle back care, pregnancy, and for kids)
