MONKEYPOX INFORMATION: Baltimore County residents can access and submit a confidential survey at MPXvax.baltimorecountymd.gov. The information provided will assist in determining if someone is high risk and eligible for the vaccine at this time. The vaccine is only for people who have no symptoms and have not previously been diagnosed with monkeypox.
SYMPTOMS AND TESTING Indications of the monkeypox virus include, but are not limited to, a rash or sores, swollen glands, chills, fever, headache and other flu-like symptoms. Residents are encouraged to contact their healthcare provider if they have these symptoms or have been in close contact with a confirmed case.
Those without a healthcare provider should contact the Baltimore County Department of Health at 410-887-3816 to inquire about testing.
