Description JOB READINESS: Mobile Career Navigators bring resources and services from the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED) to neighborhoods where access is often limited and connects residents from underserved communities to employment and training services. Program prioritizes unemployed and underemployed residents and disadvantaged jobseekers, including returning citizens, opportunity youth, and public assistance recipients.

To invite a Mobile Career Navigator to a community location or event, submit the request form at https://moed.baltimorecity.gov/mobile-career-navigator-services - Please note that Career Navigators are unable to conduct in-home visits.

Navigators help residents register on the Maryland Workforce Exchange website, apply to jobs online, write resumes, get information on training, adult education, and literacy programs, find supportive services in health, childcare, housing, and food, financial literacy, legal assistance, and other social services. Career Navigators are equipped with a laptop and internet access and only need a workspace to provide services.

Eligibility Unemployed or underemployed people in Baltimore City. Mobile Career Navigators will provide services at a community location or event, but cannot conduct at-home visits for clients.
