Description
|
HEALTH CARE: Provides healthcare for refugees and other eligible immigrants. Conducts assessments of total health (like nutrition, injuries and illnesses). Also looks for infectious diseases such as parasites, hepatitis B, HIV, syphilis and tuberculosis. If someone is an adult refugee, the program will screen for symptoms of depression or anxiety and recommend treatment. People do not need to speak English to see a doctor and the program often serves multiple family members at the same time. Visit the website for more information.
