Description

This program offers zero-interest home repair and rehab loans to eligible homeowners that reside within the Missoula city limits. Homeowners must occupy the home requiring repair, and they must meet income guidelines. Homes must be single-family dwellings, and be stick built on a permanent foundation. Repairs and improvements should serve to enhance the health and safety of occupants by contributing to the home's habitability and/or structural integrity. Loans may also be used to install energy saving measures in the home.
For applications or further information call: 406-728-3710 Once an applicant is determined income eligible the Human Resource Council will do a site visit, and work with the homeowner to determine the home's needs.
Possible repairs include but are not limited to: - Plumbing, heating system, electrical wiring updating or repair
- Structural repairs to supports or foundations
- The addition of home insulation or storm windows to save energy costs
- Roof replacement or repair
- Modifications to increase the home's accessiblity
- Porch or entrance repair
- Siding replacement
- Well and/or septic improvements, or City connection to those systems
