Description Receives and investigates reports of abuse or neglect, including self-neglect. Matters include those regarding elders (age 60 or older) or dependent adults (age 18-59). Responds to urgent matters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To report adult/elder abuse in a long-term care facility, call the Long-Term Care Ombudsman.

Eligibility Anyone can make a report of suspected abuse or neglect related to seniors (age 60 and older) or dependent adults (age 18-59)

Application Process Call hotline to report dependent adult or elder abuse. To report dependent adult/elder abuse in a long term care facility, call the Long Term Care Ombudsman.
