Description
|
Offers assistance for individuals struggling with food. - Child/Adult Care Food Program - Works with shelters and registered and licensed childcare providers who receive monthly reimbursement for serving nutritious meals and snacks which meet the guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
- Commodity Supplemental Food Program - Available to low-income individuals aged 60 and older. Food is provided on a bi-monthly basis. Participants receive one box and one bag of food every other month.
- Sportsmen Against Hunger - Works to distribute donated venison to local food cupboards in collaboration with local sporting groups and meat processors.
