Description
|
Services provided include: - Personal Care Kits - Personal hygiene items can be given from the social service office as they are available. Items commonly given are shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, etc. Diapers and adult incontinence wear are also sometimes available.
- Miscellaneous Financial Assistance for:
- Prescription Medication Assistance.
- Fees associated with being issued a U.S. Birth Certificate.
- Required Employment Related Items - such as work boots, scrubs, etc. Must be necessary for new full-time employment (not day labor).
- Clothing Vouchers - Available to individuals in need, vouchers are to be used at New Life Thrift store. MUST GET VOUCHER FROM SALVATION ARMY
- Bus Passes - Medical Appointments and Employment Interviews ONLY
- Provides referrals for Furniture Mission and The Village (Financial Counseling).
