A monthly educational class that teaches people to become successful renters, understand their rights as renters, and the responsibilities they have in communicating with the property manager and neighbors to avoid misunderstandings.
Class participants will review many topics, including: - Know what you want
- Know what you can afford
- How to tell your story
- Application process
- How to talk to your landlord
- Things to do before signing a lease
The class is a comprehensive course that provides additional education and skills to become a successful renter
May include, but not limited to: - Low-income individuals, or individuals who need money management skills to build credit and rent histories
- Individuals who are new to the country
- Individuals who are new to rental living, including young adults moving into independent living and individuals in transition
