Description
|
Youth Summer Camp: Six-week program in July and August with safe, fun-filled activities for ages 4 to 10, including free dinners for participants. Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Pre-registration is required.
Pre-Teen Summer Program: employment opportunities for Pre-Teen Summer Camp, Teen Summer Basketball League, Food Cart and summer tutorial assistance.
Teen opportunities include:
- GIAC Food Cart, Monday-Friday, 11 am-5 pm
- Rashad Richardson Basketball League
- out-of-town trips
- Get It and Go Snack Cart at adult basketball games
Adult Basketball League: Summer months. Team registration applications available in April/May; games begin in June.
Alex Haley Municipal Pool: community pool open to youth and adults of all ages who can swim. Organizations and groups receive a group rate during open swim. Daily admission and season passes are sold at GIAC.
