Facilitates cooperation and collaboration among health and human services providers to develop an organized, efficient and effective service delivery system, including recommendations for action.
Helps build non-profit capacity through coordinated grant writing, technical assistance and training, plus provides links to local, regional and national decision makers. - reviews human services funding requests to assist informed decision-making by funding sources
- develops and implements issue-driven community needs assessments and studies
- provides technical assistance on request to health and human service agencies
- convenes the Homeless & Housing Task Force, Continuum of Care, and bi-monthly Human Services Forums
- publishes the Funders Directory
- coordinates ongoing Workshop series (normally held at the Borg Warner Room at the Tompkins County Public Library) presentations and training on a variety of human service related topics
