PPE (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT) DONATIONS

From Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management:
Anyone wanting to donate PPE, and only PPE (i.e., face shields, gloves, goggles and glasses, gowns, head covers, masks, respirators, and shoe covers for the health care workers), and have quantities of 500 or more pieces are to drop them off at the following sites:
  • Salvation Army Northern Divisional Headquarters 2445 Prior Avenue North Roseville, MN 55113 8:30 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday
  • Salvation Army Corps Facility Duluth 215 South 27th Avenue West Duluth, MN 55806, 10 am - 3 pm Tuesday and Friday; Point of Contact: Scott Redenbaugh (218)348-5536
  • Salvation Army Warehouse 1503 1st Avenue North, Moorhead, MN, Point of Contact: Major Jerry O’Neill (701)219-1098 (Call prior to arriving at the facility)
  • Information pending for a site in Rochester
Anyone with quantities of less than 500 pieces should contact their county emergency manager to make arrangements.

BLOOD DONATIONSFOOD/MATERIAL GOODS DONATIONS
  • The Aliveness Project: Call (612)822-7946 or email info@aliveness.org to provide donations of material goods
  • Community Thread: Donate VISA gift cards or gift cards to stores such as Aldi, Cub, Target and Walmart. Drop gift cards in locked box along the sidewalk on the east side of the building or mail them to Community Thread 2300 Orleans Street West Stillwater, MN 55082.
  • Family Service Rochester: Collection of Material Goods for At Risk Children and Families
  • Folwell Neighborhood Association-Minneapolis: Text (612)227-0410 to set up a time to donate bottled water, laundry and dish supplies, non-perishable food, over the counter medicine, and toiletires
  • HOPE Coalition Community Care Fund and Housing Support Services: Call (651)388-9360 ext. 2 to donate diapers; gift cards to local grocery stores; disinfectant and cleaning supplies; hand sanitizer; spray bottles; gloves; masks
  • HOPE Coalition Haven of Hope: Call 1-800-369-5214 to donate disinfectant and cleaning supplies; hand sanitizer; spray bottles; gloves; masks
  • Meal Connect: An online platform for food donations from restaurants, food distributors, caterers, special event centers, corporate cafeterias and other commercial food preparers to those in need. Visit www.MealConnect.org to get started. Create an account and post a product. Meal Connect has transportation logistics in place to collect and deliver to a partner kitchen. Loaves and Fishes also accepts food donations through Meal Connect.   • Second Harvest Heartland: Several restaurants are using their kitchens and teams to cook and package meals. Restaurants with available food, kitchen space and teams should contact Dianne Wortz at dwortz@2harvest.org.
