Jefferson Alcohol and Drug Abuse Center (JADAC) Provides a comprehensive array of services, both inpatient and outpatient, for adults experiencing alcoholism and drug addiction. Services include:

Specialized Programs

Kentucky Moms
Educational program for women who are pregnant or have recently given birth, who are at risk or face challenges with substance use.
Project Link
A FREE program for pregnant women who are using alcohol and/or drugs.
Early Intervention Program (EIP)
For youth ages 13–20 who are at risk for or may already be experiencing problems related to substance use.
Zero-Tolerance Under 21 DUI Program (ZT)
Services for young people ages 16–20 charged under KRS 189A.010(1)(e) for Zero Tolerance under 21 DUI offenses.
Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) Evidence-based practice to identify, reduce, and prevent problematic use, misuse, and dependence on alcohol and illicit drugs.

Anyone in the state of Kentucky who is indigent (uninsured and has no other benefit) is eligible for a subsidy/sliding fee scale to help pay for services.Note: all forms of Medicaid accepted, but Medicare is not accepted (Medicare clients could be referred to OLOP, Baptist Health, or The Brook Hospital).

Program Hours:
* JADAC Clinical Triage Call Center is open daily around the clock. They are
closed on all Seven Counties holidays.
* Inpatient Walk-ins Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Calls for
inpatient admissions are taken Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM and
Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
* Scheduled Outpatient appointments (Monday-Friday) can be scheduled by
calling the call center at (502) 583-3951.

Program Delivery

Eligibility:	Open access admission for all private insurance and Kentucky Medicaid. Sliding scale fee offered to non-insured individuals who reside in Kentucky. Aetna (formerly Coventry) will not pay for detox but will pay for all outpatient services. Humana CareSource, Passport, and Wellcare pay for all addiction services at JADAC Accepts individuals 18 years of age and older with addiction to drugs/alcohol and who are not exhibiting active suicidal or homicidal behavior. Note: JADAC is NOT an approved Medicare provider; Medicare clients could be referred to OLOP, Baptist Health, or the Brook Hospital. Adults

Application Process:	Appointments encouraged for all patients. Open access for insurance and Medicaid patients. All others call for appointment. Individuals should call first to let JADAC staff know they are coming. Walk-ins accepted for Concerned Persons Program

Program Fees:	Serves individuals with or without insurance, although copayments and sliding fee schedules may apply. Seven Counties Services currently accepts Medicare and Medicaid, most commercial insurances, and Tricare.

Someone with accepted private insurance can come from anywhere. Anyone who resides in Kentucky is eligible for a subsidy to help pay for services if they are uninsured and indigent. Anyone who resides in Kentucky and has Kentucky Medicaid is eligible for services.
