Eligibility:
|
Must be a veteran or service member
Must be entitled to disability compensation for permanent and total disability
Loss of use of both lower extremities, such as preclude locomotion without the aid of braces, crutches, canes or wheelchair
Blindness in both eyes, plus loss of use of one lower extremity
Loss of use of one lower extremity together with (1) residuals of organic disease or injury or (2) loss of use of one upper extremity, affecting balance or propulsion as to preclude locomotion with the aid of braces, crutches, canes or wheelchair
Loss of use of both upper extremities at or above the elbows
Severe burn injury
