OVERVIEW: Provides shelter and transitional shelter placement for women and women with children.  
 
SERVICES:
1) EMERGENCY SHELTER: Provides an emergency shelter for women and women and children. Individuals can stay up to 45 days.

2) TRANSITIONAL SHELTER: Offers a transitional housing program to eligible individuals. Length of stay is up to 24 months for residents who qualify. Case management services are also provided to assist residents to become self-sufficient. Such services include budgeting and life skills workshops and counseling sessions.

3) DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER: Assists women (and their children) living in an unsafe environment due to domestic violence.

4) HYPOTHERMIA SHELTER: Provides an overnight freezing weather shelter available from in the evening to early morning when temperature is 32 degrees or below. Referral from Department of Social Services (DSS) is required.

Eligibility: Homeless single women or women with children. Clients must be alcohol and drug-free.
Languages: Accommodations possible.
Application Process: Accepts referrals from Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s Counties Department of Social Services; Charles County Sheriff Department; CAP (Center for Abused Persons); and Walden Sierra.
Payment methods:
Program Fees: No fees for emergency services. Transitional residents are required to pay a shelter on a sliding scale.
