 Description

BASIC INCOME MAINTENANCE: Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA), Maryland’s Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program, provides cash assistance to families with dependent children, must be under 18 or under 19 and a full time secondary school student. Applicants must met certain financial and technical eligibility requirements before approval, such as complying with child support, substance abuse screening and be willing to participate in Work Activity program. The application can be completed online or in person at the local agency.
