 Description

DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES & TREATMENT: Provides cancer screening services for the prevention and treatment of breast and cervical cancer to eligible women. Exams include clinical breast exams, mammograms, pap tests, and some diagnostic exams as appropriate. Offers educational information on the importance of cancer screening at health fairs throughout the state. Referrals to local providers are made and connections to treatment facilities for those women diagnosed with breast cancer or cervical cancer. Also offers pap smears for women 21 years and older.

Eligibility: Maryland women who have limited income and are uninsured or underinsured and belong to the following age groups: Breast cancer screening - 40-64 years old or over 65 and does not have Medicare Part B. Cervical Screening - 21-64 years old, or over 65 and does not have Medicare Part B. Adults Females
Languages: Interpretation line available for other languages., Haitian Creole, Spanish
