HOUSING OPPORTUNITY FOR PERSONS HIV/AIDS (HOPWA): Provides funding for housing assistance and related supportive services to low-income persons diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and their families. MUST BE RYAN WHITE ELIGIBLE. Assists clients to maintain housing stability, avoid homelessness and improve access to HIV treatment and other health care.

Application Process: Must be referred through the Coordinated Entry System. To confirm eligibility for the HOPWA Program, please schedule an appointment with a Coordinated Access Navigator between Mon-Fri, 8:30AM- 4:30PM by calling 410-935-9862 or 410-545-1511.

Documents Required: Coordinated Access assessment, verification of HIV/AIDS diagnosis, household income verification, insurance card, valid identification for all household members over 18, social security cards for all household members, and birth certificates for all household members.
