OVERVIEW: Provides support services for Montgomery County, Virginia, and DC residents, focusing on Spanish-speaking individuals and families.

SERVICES:
1) IMMIGRATION AND NATURALIZATION SERVICE: Focuses on the provision of direct legal immigration services to foreign-born individuals and their families. General information sessions are held on Wednesdays at 12PM and cost $40 to attend. Consultations also available, walk-in clients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited.

2) EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM: Matches employers with potential employees. Job opportunities are compiled and distributed each week. Also offers regular workshops on Job Readiness and Life Skills to help job seekers improve their employment potential. Additional workshops and assistance is available on topics including financial literacy, entrepreneurship, resume writing, local job market research, career counseling, job complaints, and internet applications. New Clients Orientation: Tuesday, 9:30AM-10:30AM and Thursday, 1PM-2PM (Spanish); Friday 9:30AM-10:30AM (English).

3) ESOL PROGRAMS: Focuses on assisting non-native English speakers master English as an educational and vocational tool. These courses are offered during 11-week sessions in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Pre-registration is required. Also provides a Family & Children Literacy Program that allows parents to study English while children receive academic support and a Spanish Literacy Program designed for native Spanish-speakers.

4) ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Provides emergency food and clothing referrals to individuals and families in need. Also assists in obtaining a photo ID card for a $20 fee.
