Description
SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SCSEP): Provides training and employment assistance to unemployed, eligible workers 55 years and older through participating non-profit or government agencies known as host agencies. Participants are given a training assignment with a commitment of 20 hours a week, at the established minimum hourly wage. SCSEP enables qualified older workers to update and enhance skills through on-site training provided by the host agencies toward the participant's goal of unsubsidized employment either in the non-profit, government or private sector.
