Municipal corporation provides clean water supply, water pollution control and lead water testing for residents of eight member municipalities. Member towns are Bloomfield, East Hartford, Hartford, Newington, Rocky Hill, West Hartford, Wethersfield and Windsor. Also provides drinking water to portions of Farmington, Glastonbury, East Granby and South Windsor. Eligible property owners can be reimbursed for septic tank pumping charges to a maximum allowable amount. Also sponsors household hazardous waste collections for residents of participating towns in May, June, September and October.
