GERIATRIC PSYCHIATRY AND ACUTE CARE: Provides diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders for older adults with Axis 1 diagnosis. Also involves and educates family and friends. Services include geriatric psychiatry inpatient unit, geriatric pscychiatry outpatient clinic, senior outreach service, and Advanced Depression Treatment Center (ADEPT). ADEPT offers psychiatric second opinions, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment, Intranasal esketamine (Spravato) treatment, Outpatient Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS), and others.
