Household hazardous waste (HHW) collection program enables residents to safely dispose of hazardous materials in an environmentally sound manner. Common HHW includes oil-based paints and thinners, pool chemicals, pesticides, garden fertilizers and weed killers, mercury fever thermometers, gasoline, batteries and other items.
