Budget counseling helps residents who are struggling financially to develop skills necessary to create and sustain a workable family budget and promote self-sufficiency. Better Living on a Shoestring is an interactive group workshop series offered to eligible residents to help develop life skills necessary to maintain or regain financial self-sufficiency. The program requires a six month commitment, workshop participation once a month as well as homework during each month.
