TICKS/LYME DISEASE:
To facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease, residents can bring ticks to their local health department office, and health officials will arrange for the identification and testing of the tick.
DEAD BIRDS/WEST NILE VIRUS:
To manage the prevention and control of West Nile virus, residents are asked to report to sightings of dead wild birds, especially dead crows, ravens and blue jays, to their local health department.
