Town health department enforces food service codes and regulations for the town of Ridgefield, responds to complaints, inspects food facilities and food vendors, and investigates possible incidents of food-borne illnesses. (NOTE: If two or more people believe they may have been made ill from consuming food or beverages from a food service facility, they should report the incident to their town of residence’s health department, not to the health department in the town where the food service facility is located.)
