Frauds Division works to protect the general public from unfair or deceptive trade practices or unsafe consumer products, and provides an independent mechanism for mediating disputes between buyers and sellers. Division receives and acts upon telephone calls and written consumer complaints from the public. Division also administers programs to protect consumers, including the Home Improvement, and New Home Construction programs.
