Description
People over income for Husky C Medicaid can use medical bills to spend down income to the medically needy income limit (MNIL) and then be eligible for Medicaid. Income and medical expenses are reviewed every six months. Once medical expenses in a six month period bring income below the MNIL, the client is deemed eligible for Medicaid.
