Non-citizen eligibility: Effective October 1, 2026

• Lawful permanent residents who have lived in the United States for at least five year, Cuban/Haitian entrants, and Compacts of Free Association (COFA) citizens are not affected and will still receive services.
• Individuals such as refugees, asylees, trafficking victims, humanitarian parolees and more who currently qualify for HUSKY Health will no longer be eligible due to their immigration status

Connecticut children's HUSKY plan provides health care insurance, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription. The maximum income level to qualify a child for coverage is 323% FPL. - Cost: HUSKY B - 1) Band 1 - for children with family income between 185-235% of FPL - no monthly premium; - 2) Band 2 - for children with family income between 236-323% of FPL, HUSKY B-Tiers 1 and 2 provides, under the HUSKY Plus program, supplemental coverage for intensive physical or behavioral health care needs.
