1) Have the caller go to the home page at www.hud.gov
2) Under the agency title, click on state info and then click on Connecticut.
3) This takes you to the HUD in Connecticut page. On the left side, under I Want to, click on Get Rental Help.
4) Halfway down the page in the Other Connecticut Resources section, find the first listing titled, HUD-Associated Rental Housing in CT.
5) Click on the word here at the end of the sentence.
6) This will bring up the book, Looking for HUD-Assisted Rental Housing in Connecticut for downloading or viewing.

For Callers Who Want to Order the Blue Book by Phone:
Please be sure that the caller has written the right number down! Several callers are reversing the order of the numbers and calling the Legislative Research Office. And they are not too happy about it!
Also, the Director of Communications at Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation has reported getting calls for people trying to contact HUD because her phone number is almost the same. Be sure to have callers dial (860) 240-4800.

Please remember that in addition to offering the HUD.gov website to callers interested in applying for subsidized housing, we can also offer to take the caller’s contact information directly and submit it to HUD to have the Blue Book directly mailed or emailed to them.

In order to submit a request to HUD, please document the following:

Contact Marker: HUD Blue Book Request
3rd Party Information:
• Client Name (if sending directory by mail)
• Complete mailing address or email address in Address Field
• Zip Code (document under ‘Enter location of Caller’) – this is necessary for both Mail and Email requests
