For Callers Who Want to Order the Blue Book by Phone:
Please be sure that the caller has written the right number down! Several callers are reversing the order of the numbers and calling the Legislative Research Office. And they are not too happy about it!
Also, the Director of Communications at Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation has reported getting calls for people trying to contact HUD because her phone number is almost the same. Be sure to have callers dial (860) 240-4800.
For Ordering the Blue Book on behalf of a Caller:
Please remember that in addition to offering the HUD.gov website to callers interested in applying for subsidized housing, we can also offer to take the caller’s contact information directly and submit it to HUD to have the Blue Book directly mailed or emailed to them.
In order to submit a request to HUD, please document the following:
Referral: Housing Search and Information: HUD Blue Book
Contact Marker: HUD Blue Book Request
3rd Party Information:
• Client Name (if sending directory by mail)
