Description
Fair Housing Intake Line will speak with anyone that feels they have been discriminated against based on their race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status or disability in a housing situation. Housing discrimination specialists help with guidance and direction on filing complaints. Fair Housing Act protects people from discrimination when they are renting or buying a home, getting a mortgage, seeking housing assistance, or engaging in other housing-related activities.

Application Process: If someone wishes to file a fair housing complaint, they should fill out the online 903 form: https://portalapps.hud.gov/FHEO903/Form903/Form903Start.action?lang=en; Exceptions made if someone needs a reasonable accommodation for a disability, or someone lacks the technological or language capability to use the online form; In those cases, the customer can call 800-669-9777 and leave a message requesting an exception to using the online portal
