First Aid course has been designed to meet DPH requirements for home-based provider certification. Included in the training are basic first aid, Infant and Child CPR, how to reduce risk of injury and infectious diseases and how to care for illness in the childhood setting. (Verify with instructor that this course is still pre-approved by DPH for home-based care provider certification.)

When taken with CPR Skills for Parents and Childcare Providers class this course meets Connecticut requirements for home daycare providers.
