Customers have the right to have their utility services remain on due to medical necessity for a life-threatening illness. Customer must have the appropriate documentation from a doctor which has been sent/faxed to the utility company. PLEASE NOTE: The documentation must come from either a doctor or APRN. Documentation sent to the utility company from a nurse practitioner, nurse or other medical professional will not be accepted.
