UPDATE 3/12/25: Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks is working on expanding before and after childcare at the County’s 23 school sites. The county is seeking to hire more childcare professionals to reach this goal. Interested childcare providers can reach out to [email protected].

INFORMATION AND REFERRAL: Provides information and referral service to help Howard County families identify needs and link them to agencies, programs and organizations. The CARE Line is available to parents, grandparents, caregivers and other community members who may have questions about finding child care, child care assistance, behavior issues, grandparents support, mental health concerns, financial assistance, support groups, adolescent concerns, special needs, camps, county resources, and other services.
