Description
General acute care community hospital for the Lower Naugatuck Valley area provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical, obstetric, preventive, and psychiatric services, emergency room and convenient care, childbirth preparation and delivery, and intensive outpatient programs for adults experiencing psychiatric disorders, substance abuse and those with a dual diagnosis. Community services include the Health Resource Center, speakers, support groups, programs and classes, a school based health center, and a Valley-wide parish nurse program. Disease management and wellness programs address heart disease, women's health, headaches, pain, multiple sclerosis, sleep wellness, wound healing, stress, and other conditions.
