Description
Life management groups offer opportunities for adults with AIDS/HIV, chronic mental illness and/or substance abuse problems to participate in psychoeducational, support and skill development groups. Group members and staff work together to plan, organize and implement recovery activities designed to combat isolation and build community living skills and social support networks. Leadership training focuses on skill building and empowerment to promote recovery and wellness. Services include job training, education, social and recreational activities, health and wellness programming, and opportunities.
