Application Process:

DCF or parent/guardian referral; Provider or school referrals also accepted; Intake interview held within 72 hours of referral
For referrals to Child Abuse Treatment Services (CATS):
**To be eligible for services there must be a disclosure of physical abuse, sexual abuse, or
witness to domestic violence
**Children/Adolescents, ages 4 to 17 are served
** No fee for services provided to victims and families - Services are grant funded by the Office of Victim Services
**TF-CBT trained clinician obtains basic demographics information, nature of presenting
problem and a brief trauma history screen
