Description
Intensive in-home therapeutic intervention for children ages 3 through 17 who have an extensive treatment history that has not stabilized the child, who are in need of an intervention in order to be maintained safely in the community, and who do not currently require inpatient care. Purpose of the program is to keep the child from being hospitalized or being placed in a residential treatment facility. Eligible children have serious psychiatric disturbances or oppositional defiant behavior, a primary psychiatric diagnosis, and are at imminent risk of hospitalization or placement in a residential treatment facility. Family must be willing to participate in the treatment plan.
