Description
Children's legal services agency promotes the rights and interests of low income children whose care is provided by Connecticut's judicial, child welfare, health, mental health, education, and juvenile justice systems. Legal assistance is provided to individual children and youth for issues involving abuse, neglect, placement, education, homelessness, immigration, racial justice, special education, and mental and physical health, access to benefits. Center also provides administrative or legal advocacy on behalf of groups of children, and functions as a legal resource center for lawyers representing children.
