Description

Provides referral assistance to substance abuse and mental health treatment service providers for children ages 0 through 18 enrolled in HUSKY A, HUSKY B, HUSKY C and HUSKY D programs. parents/guardians in HUSKY A program, and to members of the Medicaid health plan. Intensive Case Managers offer care coordination to meet special needs of children and adults. Peer Specialists offer individuals and families assistance in understanding behavioral health services and locating community resources. DCF involved children with special behavioral health care needs may also be eligible for services.
