Instructions for submitting Rent Rebate Application:


When all Rent Rebate documents are ready for processing take them to one of the following locations and place in the lock box provided or give to an Elderly Services staff member on site.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Annually - Ages 65+ or totally disabled, one year's Connecticut residency; Call city/town for specific income eligibility guidelines (figures change annually); No asset limit; Veterans Real or Personal Property Tax Exemption: At least 90 days wartime service, Connecticut residency; Low income and/or disabled veterans are eligible for higher exemptions

Application Process: Rent Rebate 4/1-9/30
Program Fees: No fee
Documents Required: Proof of Connecticut residency; Proof of income; Proof of age 65+; If under age 65, proof of permanent and total disability
