Description
Connecticut Tech Act Project offers an Assistive Technology Loan Program (ATLP), which provides low interest loans to people with disabilities and their family members to purchase Assistive Technology and adaptive equipment or services to make home or vehicle modifications to maintain or improve functional capabilities. Assistive devices would include modified vehicles, ramps, computers with adaptive software, and hearing and visual aids. Loan interest rates are a fixed 4% or 4.5% for the life of the loan. Loan payment terms are based on the AT device and may vary with a maximum repayment term of l0 years and loans can range from $500-$30,000 depending on lending funds available.
